With my first child on the way (due on December 10th!) my wife and I have been throwing a few names about!

I have (jokingly!) suggested some Hibs related names for a boy which i have started to think it is!

Our last name is SIM so, I came up with a couple along the lines of:

Russell Franck Mixu Zitelli Sim

She wasn't overly impressed...

Got me thinking of any other names that any .netters might come up with!

Don't know about names but I spent most of last weekend pacing up and down with one or the other of my 6 week old twin grandaughters...singing them Hibs songs.
For some strange reason "Says Bertie Mee to Bill Shankly...." seems to be a fav. Hope their first words aren't Mental Hibees:wink:

I have a wee boy called 'Reilly'. I suggested it and she loved it. I tried to have the 2nd addition called 'Ormond' but she wasnt having it and we decided on Lachlan instead (no Hibs relation there unfortunately)

My old man wanted to call me Stanton when I was born. Was gutted when I found out , as I thought Stanton would be a cracking name. On hindsight growing up in Paisley with a name like Stanton would have been a bit rough!

Did you miss the last "n" off the birth certificate as well? Great disguise - the wife would never work it out. :greengrin

Well i've had some valuable replies which may be getting pitched to the missus tonight!

and thanks for all the SIM card references......gets funnier everytime!:boo hoo:

Our conversations on baby names usually decended into this kind of thing:

Awe Sim
Whole Sim
Tire Sim
Hans Sim

and her personal favourite:
Michael Jack Sim

When i looked started thinking about Hibs names Darren Jack Sim sprung to mind. He was my favourite player when i was a kid. Don't think i could bring myself to do it now though!!

I bargained with the wife that she could give our boy his first name if I could do middle names. She was okay with this, but when I wanted to give him 3 middle names she got suspicious and asked what I had in mind. "Keith" I said. "Okay, what about the other two?" "Eh, Keith and Keith". End of bargaining agreement :greengrin.
