I'd be fine with that if he was supplementing two other more pressing signings.

BOB is rubbish, where would he fit in to our side

Me too. I thought he was bound for the **** before he signed for Sheff Wed along with McNamee.

I would see him as a squad player to be honest.

How many people said the same about McBride.

Depends what Hibs viewpoint is. Burton O'Brien wouldn't get a game at present, but he would markedly improve your back-up contingent of Thicot/Rankin/Cregg. As long as he is not a 'major' signing, if Hibs can afford to strengthen the squad in that way then it's a decent little statement to make.

I'd be amazed if Hibs signed O'Brien, Barr AND Arfield though, so one or two of the three is not going to happen.

I hope not-we played like Falkirk for a long time today-ponderous slow passing across the park-it was 75 minutes before their goalie made a decent save-not good enough.

We need a goal scoring attacking mid to put the icing on the cake just now.

It would be a shame to weaken Falkirk too much. would like to see the Yams relegated.

I hope this isn't true - seen him countless times for Sheff Wed and he is useless.

In fact - he's worse than that.

GloriousHibs understands that Mr Nish will be Mr Jones team mate in January and that a Mr Kyle will be pulling on our famous shirt. Anyone confirm?

I'm wary of players with the surname O'Brien...

Can't say I'd be too wild about Kevin Kyle though. I've never rated him.

Why not make a cheeky bid for Barry Robson? More chance getting a game for us, as back-up for Miller, than he has for Celtc

Think Kyle would be a good signing, like Nish but he is frustrating as F*** ,caught offside all the time and generally dont think he is good enough. In his defence though he is a hibee and gives 100% everytime his birds not bad either!!
