Right, I can now take my anorak off again, unless you want to know their record in all games including friendlies etc.

I was born in 1980; so missed the Turnbull era.

I have read 'There is a bony fitbaw team', a nice book from a Hibs supporter sharing his times as a 50 years supporter.

Anyway, it gave me a bit more knowledge on the Turnbulls sides. And I don't know how painful it was in reality, but it seems after his 1st 3 years or so in charge, things gradually just got worse and worse, not playing our best players, selling them and bringing in guff (sounds familiar) - It felt a bit saddening how it turned out with him in charge, after his initial years were exciting and quite successful.

Was he just too long in the job?
Didn't get the financial backing?
Lost the plot?

Also, the SPL know he-haw, they missed Phil Kelso 1903-04.

Also did you know that Yogi is Hibs most successful manager since Dan McMicheal was first in charge of Hibs under his role as secretary prior to Kelso taking over, McMicheal then has a second shot as manger but did not do as well. Dan McM - 65.9% success, Yogi - 63.6% and then Jock Stein in the modern era with 63.1%.

Hands up who is surprised that Mogadon managed more draws than anything else and a Goal Difference of +1..........

Would be interested to know how that equates to 59.5% success.

You can see which team played the football and which bored everyone rigid for many years.........:greengrin

Success percentage is based on the old system of 2pts win, 1pt draw, 0 pts loss.
