1 Yellow

no pockets

:confused:Think it maybe combination shots, white (cue ball) hits the yellow off the red ..or red off yellow for points ...then again i could be way off, i vaguely remember my father in law playing it a few years back ..

Sounds like you're watching 'carom billiards'. I've only played English billiards (with pockets on a snooker table).

They're pretty similar.

many folk think it's the ultimate test of cuemanship..... but I think Snooker fills that particular niche.

Seen it many years ago, but it left me cold... yes it's difficult, but a decent snooker player requires much more skill!
