I spoke to a Lions fan last night who joked that the media are underplaying this story, and that in fact, the entire Detroit Lions team have been missing at sea since game 1 of the 2008/09 season.

All black-humor aside, I hope both Smith and Cooper are found alive and well, but it doesn't look promising!

Not the best of news at all - the death of Sean Taylor (Redksins) dominated the pre-season last year - I hope we're not going to see the same thing again this year :boo hoo:
