They'll not win the league buddy.................would be financial suicide due to the geographical location of being promoted into a higher level.

Is it compulsory promotion now? They won the league a couple of years back I think and didn't choose to go up.

Here's some pictures from the "glory days" at Powderhall.. (http://emmerdales.intheteam.com/modules/page/Page.aspx?pc=52&mid=27653&pmid=27575)

:greengrin I couldn't see any of the centre green gadgy.

Funnily enough, I met up with a few of the riders last weekend at the 60th Anniversary of the club and most complaints are that the guys don't have any pics of the good ole days....I will that email a link to a few.

I believe promotion is on offer, whether it is compulsory or not...unsure but will suss it out.

I see him!

I'm in picture 10 and another further down - a lot of the photos are mine, I spent my pocket money on a Friday night on pictures - the team of 86 ones etc. It was my old mans way of getting me out the way so he could have another pint. :greengrin

I was contemplating testing the ice to see who on .net and the bounce mightbe up for a Hibs night at the speedway during this footie close season.

Can maybe pull a few strings and strike some kind of deal for a big night out - might need to organise a bus.......

Here are some pictures I was fortunate enough to be allowed to take last year at a couple of meets.

http://www.tigerfast.co.uk/speedway.html

Its a good team this year (possibly out performing themselves) but well worth going to watch if you are free on a Friday night.
