Whit a plonker!
It's a Monday morning and a new voice to the Hibs.net front pages has a few things to get off his chest…

I’VE HEARD FAE A GUID SOURCE thit Dundee United gaffer Ian McCall stormed intae the press room eftir the game wi’ Hibs and started layin intae the boys fir no kickin the baw oot o’ play when yin o’ his players wis lyin like a wounded sodjer.  Apparently, the wee man thinks that cost his team two points but ah’m afraid ah dinnae agree wi’ him cos ah wis sitting right near the boy when Ian Murray tackled him and there wis nae foul so nae reason tae stoap the game.

Seems he cawed the boys bad sportsmen bit stoaped short ae blamin Boaby.  Big o’ him eh?  Boaby hud awready been in apparently and hud made nae secret o’ the fact thit he’s telt his players no tae kick the baw oot o’ play unless it’s a heid knock and that includes his ain players bein hurt.  Seems fair tae me cos we aw ken whit experts at time wastin yon Dundee United mob are – jist ask Matty Jack n’ he’ll tell ye.  Anyway, ah agree wi’ Boaby thit it’s the referee’s joab tae stoap play, no the players and yon big galoot wi’ the whistle saw whit happened and waved play oan.

Pit it doon to youthful inexperience oan the part o’ McCall cos the boys got nae other excuse fir his behaviour and fae aw accounts the press men thit witnessed the outburst hud their jaws oan the flair as McCall stormed oot again.

The Arabs friend and some other ex-Hibee (sns)

Fir the benefit o’ any Arabs thit huv goat somebody whae kin read this oot tae them ah’ll explain why the wee plonker wis oot ae order.  United get pounded in the first half bit cos o’ poor finishin an a bit o’ guid goalkeeping fi’ Gallacher along wi’ a slip fae Doumbe the teams are level at half time.  Hibs push forward fir a winner an’ git caught oot wi’ a sucker punch goal when Murdock does his statue impersonation while the boy walks past him and scores tae pit the Arabs in front.

Us punters are no happy an’ so we start to howl fir Hibs tae push forward and so dis the Manager cos ah watched him fae the other side o’ the park and his wee airms were flyin tae signal the boys up the park.  Times runnin oot fast and Hibs get a free kick eftir yin o’ their defenders commits GBH oan Brebner.  We take the free kick aboot five yairds fi’ where the foul happened, or twenty yairds if ye use the Ian McCall measuring tape and wee Kev Thomson floats in a peach o’ a cross fir that big numpty McCracken tae send a McCrackin heider intae the net.  Aw seems perfectly fair tae me like.

So how come MCall is callin Hibs cheats, cos that’s what it aw amounts tae?  OK he wis disappointed nae doubt thit his team hadnae won and that’s fair enough but they didnae win because they didnae deserve tae.  Seems that as he lambasted Hibs fir bein cheats he also said his boys had dominated the game fae start tae finish.  Nae wonder the boy needs glesses.  Hibs should ae been three or four goals up by half time an’ that’s no bad fir a side thits been dominated fi’ the start.

A lot o’ ma mates hate Dundee United and their moanin faced fans an ah ken exactly whit they mean.  Ever since Matty Jack won yon penalty n’ aboot 300 years ago they’ve never stoaped bluidy moanin n’ it’s aboot time they goat a life and packed that aw in.  Mind you, if the team manager leads by example whit mair kin ye expect.

Whit a shame Partick are sae guff or maybe the Arabs could naff off tae the First Division an’ leave us aw in peace fir a change.  Mind you, half thir team came fi there in McCall’s summer spending spree.  Must be a Dundee thing that, spending aw yer money oan DUFF players fi’ lower leagues.

Could be a right ding dong when we go tae Tannadice the next time.  Let’s hope there’s enough oh the moaners there tae make a decent noise fir a change.

Editor's note:  Bobby Williamson, unlike Tam, has refused to get involved in the war of words over Saturday's events instead insisting that he didn't see a player down injured.  One player who was injured was Hibs starlet Scott Brown.  Brown took a couple of heavy knocks to his ankle and had to make way for Tam McManus in the second half although it's not thought to be a serious knock and with the Hibees now out of action for a couple of weeks, Williamson will be able to concentrate on getting some of those just returning from injury back to full fitness.
