Hibs.net strikes new sponsorship deal!
The number 1 independent Hibs website teams
up with top sports art website
Hibs.net are pleased to
announce a site sponsorship deal with
top sports art website SportsArtWorld.com, it's second such deal, for
the remainder of the 2004/2004 season.
In
an effort to help both Hibs.net and
Sportsartworld.com continue to
grow and to encourage sales of Hibs and other high quality artwork,
Sportsartworld.com have contributed towards the running
of the site in a deal which will see their advert carried on Hibs.net's
home page until the summer of 2004. Speaking of the deal and
SportsArtWorld.com's reasons for choosing Hibs.net, Peter Lugton said, "I
am delighted to be part of Hibs.net, which I believe to be the No.1 Hibs
website. I am sure our association will be highly rewarding for us
both."

Sponsors of Hibs.net
"Father and Son, Jim and
Pete Lugton, both grew up in Edinburgh and have taken their passion for
Hibs a step further to create 'The Hibernian Collection'. They have very
individual styles, adopting acrylic, pencil and watercolour mediums, and
these are captured in the varying prints in the collection. As
well as the prints that appear for sale on
www.sportsartworld.com we
are always available to work on commissions of your favourite player or
even your own personal favourite sporting moment."
Hibs.net
editor Trevor Hannant was delighted that a sponsor had come forward at a
time when the costs of running websites continues to increase while
advertising revenues and other income streams stay low. Trevor
said, "We ran special deal with Peter on Hibs.net as far back as August
2000 and continued that with some advertising space in the run up to
Christmas. I was delighted when Peter contacted me with regards to
sponsoring the site until the summer break, particularly with the strong
family connection to Edinburgh and Hibs. Unfortunately, despite
many different people saying the same thing in different ways, a good
many people still see the internet as being a 'free' resource when it
isn't. As Hibs.net continues to grow, the expense of delivering
daily news and views to Hibernian fans around the world has increased to
a point where it is simply not possible to manage without the help of
our readers and companies like SportsArtWorld.com. I know that
fans who take the opportunity to visit the site will like what they see
and I hope that our link with them will be a fruitful one for both
parties for some time to come."
Anyone looking to
buy any form of sports-related artwork is encouraged to have a look
through what has become a much larger site since Hibs.net first linked
up with them over 3 years ago. If there's something in particular
you're looking for and don't see it there, don't hesitate to contact
Pete by email at
pete@sportsartworld.com or
