Hibernian Football Club have moved swiftly to appoint club captain Franck Sauzee and U21's coach Donald Park as the 'dream team' management duo to take charge of football matters and try to turn round what up until now has been a disappointing season for the club and Hibs fans everywhere.
Sauzee has been offered an 18 month contract and he will work closely with Donald Park as his assistant.
Park who took charge on an emotional night at Ibrox on Wednesday, could have been in the running for the position himself but stated he didn't want to be considered as he enjoyed his coaching so much though he seems very happy to be part of the new partnership.
Managing Director Rod Petrie conducted negotiations with Sauzee, who returned immediately to Edinburgh following the departure of Alex McLeish, and Donald Park, U21's coach and the man responsible for bringing the likes of Ian Murray and Tam McManus through the ranks.

Franck Sauzee - raring to go(sns)
Mr Petrie said: " We are delighted to be able to appoint Franck and Donald as our management team. Their combined strengths and skills are very considerable, and they have both demonstrated a real passion and commitment to Hibernian."
" Franck is a leader, he has an enormous experience of the game and he is a football man of real international stature. Donald also has great experience, and is one of the highest qualified coaches in the Scottish game."
"We would like to thank our supporters for their patience in allowing us to consider this matter. We have been well aware of their desire to see Franck appointed, and of course that has been a consideration. However the Board has taken the decision based on sound football reasons - we simply believe this solution is the best one for the Club."
Franck added: " I have a great feeling for Hibernian and it is an honour to take on this role."
" I greatly enjoyed working with Alex McLeish and I learned a great deal from him. Now Donald and I will work hard to build on the foundations that have been laid at the Club.
" Now we need everyone to support the players at this time of change. We have to focus on winning our games and climbing the league."
Stay tuned to Hibs.net for more news on these exciting appointments as soon as we have it.
